Visible in the distance, you can often spot the 25 de Abril Bridge and the sprawling white buildings of the Portuguese capital.

Nazaré & The Silver Coast

Look for the distinct headland of Nazaré, famous for the world's largest surfable waves, and the long stretches of sand along the Atlantic.

Douro River Mouth

On the final approach to Runway 35, the left side provides a stunning panorama of the Foz do Douro where the river meets the Atlantic Ocean.

Direct views of the island's capital and its busy port facilities immediately after departing LPA.

Serra da Estrela

Inland views of Portugal's highest mountain range, often snow-capped in winter, visible as you fly north toward Porto.

Central Portugal Heartland

A mosaic of eucalyptus forests, olive groves, and small terracotta-roofed villages typical of the Portuguese interior.

Douro Valley Vineyards

On specific flight paths or if landing to the south (Runway 17), the terraced hills of the world-famous Port wine region are visible to the east.
