As the aircraft departs over the northern coast, passengers on the right will see the main settlement and the stunning turquoise waters of Flying Fish Cove.
The Left Side provides a superior perspective of the iconic turquoise lagoon and the interior islands of the Cocos (Keeling) atoll during the descent, along with the main settlement of Christmas Island upon departure.
While both sides offer views of the Indian Ocean, the right side provides a more varied perspective of Western Australia's unique geography, including the arid outback, vibrant salt lakes, and the most iconic views of the Perth city skyline and Darling Scarp during the descent.
