The left side offers superior views of the vast Pikangikum Lake during departure and provides a more direct perspective of the shoreline transitions as you approach Deer Lake.
The left side offers a superior view of the complex water networks, including the eastern reaches of Pikangikum Lake and the stunning entry into the Red Lake mining district.
The right side offers superior views of the vast Lac Seul reservoir system and the rugged, island-dotted landscapes typical of the Canadian Shield, especially during the descent into Sioux Lookout.
The left side offers the most comprehensive view of the sprawling Pikangikum Lake immediately after takeoff and provides a better angle of the Berens River waterway as you head north.
The right side is slightly preferred as it typically offers a better view of the Pikangikum community upon departure and a more direct view of the North Spirit Lake settlement during the landing sequence.
