The Left Side is preferred as it offers better views of the rugged transitions between the São Paulo plateau and the southern mountain ranges, including glimpses of large reservoirs and the Araucaria-dotted highlands.
The left side offers a more varied view of the southern Brazilian highlands, including the dense Araucaria forests and the rugged transition into the state of Santa Catarina.
